So they've developed the GreenSure® designation to help their customers identify the products that meet their highest green coating standards. They use sustainable raw materials, like soy and sunflower oil in their paints. They've reduced the amount of solvent in their formulations, so their green products are more environmentally friendly. New techniques in their manufacturing processes have helped produce less waste and they've implemented energy efficient methods in their plants. They've streamlined national distribution processes, helping to conserve fuel, energy and other natural resources. They've formulated many of their coatings to clean easily and to resist mold or mildew growth on the paint film thus helping to improve the indoor and outdoor environments.
