Garanzia AIAB is a registered collective membership of the Italian organization, AIAB. Membership is on a voluntary basis, and the certification is affixed to products which have met the more stringent requirements of Reg (EC) 834/07. For example: the company must use organic methods (they do not allow the mixed company), the company must have completed the conversion to a Periodgaranzia AIAB and the farm should feed its livestock only organic foods (the exceptions are not allowed to Reg (EC) 834/07), the company has to work only with raw materials only obtained in Italy, and the company is committed to prevent, avoid and reduce all forms of pollution and encourage the use of renewable resources and energy
